Privacy Policy

Setaside (company registration in progress) (“Setaside,” “we,” “us”) runs this website and the Setaside app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• When you join the waitlist: your name, email, mobile number, whether you agreed to texts, and any optional answers (the apps you invest with, your state).
• If you use “Continue with Google”: Google shares your name and email address with us. We don't get your Google password, contacts or anything else in your account.
• If you answer our pricing question: the price you picked and, if you give it, your email.
• In the app: files you upload are read in your browser, and your numbers are saved only in your browser in the current version. To show live prices, ticker symbols (not your name or amounts) are sent to market-data providers.
• Automatic information: basic technical details your browser sends, such as your IP address, which our hosting provider uses to run and protect the site. Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser.

How we use it

To run the waitlist and let you in when a spot opens, to send the messages you asked for, to send marketing only if you opted in, to improve Setaside and decide on pricing, and to meet legal obligations.

SMS / text messaging

If you give us your mobile number and tick a text-message box, we will text you about your waitlist spot and early access, and, only if you ticked the separate marketing box, offers and updates (up to 4 per month). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

This excludes service providers that help us deliver messages, such as our messaging platform and carriers.

Who we share with

Service providers who help us run Setaside: our customer and messaging platform (HighLevel / LeadConnector), Google (sign-in, email, and storing waitlist signups), our website host, and market-data providers for prices. If you choose AI reading of a PDF (off by default), that file is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & tracking

We don't use advertising pixels or analytics trackers today. If we add any (for example Google Analytics), we'll list them here first.

How long we keep it

As long as needed to run the waitlist and provide Setaside, then we delete or anonymize it. Records of text-message consent are kept as proof of consent.

Your choices

• Stop texts by replying STOP.
• Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete your information at hello@usesetaside.com.
• California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct and opt out of “sharing.” We do not sell personal information.

Children

Setaside is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Setaside gives estimates and education, not tax, legal or investment advice.
