These terms cover your use of this website, the Setaside waitlist and the Setaside app, provided by Setaside (company registration in progress).

  1. What Setaside is. Setaside estimates the tax on your investments and shows how timing can change it. It is in early access. Features may change, and the app may have mistakes.
  2. Estimates, not advice. Everything Setaside shows is an estimate for education. It is not tax, legal or investment advice. Setaside does not recommend buying, selling or holding any security or other investment, and it doesn't replace a tax professional or financial adviser. Check important decisions with one.
  3. The waitlist. Joining is free and doesn't guarantee a spot or a price. We'll share pricing before you're asked to pay anything.
  4. Your information. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
  5. Fair use. Don't misuse the site, try to break it, or submit other people's details.
  6. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, Setaside is provided “as is,” and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
  7. Changes. We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.

SMS Program Terms

  • Program: Setaside text messages about your waitlist spot and early access. If you separately opted in to marketing, also offers and updates, up to 4 per month.
  • How you opt in: by ticking a text-message box on our waitlist form. Each box is optional. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Frequency: message frequency varies.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You'll get one confirmation and no more messages. Reply START to rejoin.
  • Help: reply HELP, or email hello@usesetaside.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: see our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
